Terms and Conditions

Doggy Style K9 Services – Dog Day Stay & Walking Services
Effective Date: 25/08/25

1. Bookings & Payment

  • All services must be booked in advance.

  • A deposit or full payment may be required to secure your booking.

  • Payment is accepted via [cash, bank transfer, card, etc.].

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.

2. Day Stay Policy

  • We only offer day stays – no overnight boarding is provided.

  • Drop-off and pick-up times must be pre-agreed. Late pickups may incur a fee.

  • We accept a maximum of 2 dogs per day to ensure a calm and personalised experience.

  • Dogs must be collected by [insert latest pickup time, e.g., 6:00 PM].

3. Health & Vaccinations

  • All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea/tick treatments, and worming.

  • Proof of vaccinations (C5 or equivalent) may be required.

  • Dogs showing signs of illness (vomiting, coughing, diarrhea, etc.) may be refused on the day to protect other pets.

  • Owners must disclose any known medical conditions or behavioural issues prior to booking.

4. Behaviour & Safety

  • All dogs must be dog- and people-friendly, or disclosed otherwise in advance for assessment.

  • We operate under a force-free handling philosophy and do not use aversive tools or punishment-based methods.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate care for dogs that are aggressive, excessively anxious, or unsafe to manage.

  • Dogs must arrive with a secure, well-fitted collar/harness and ID tags.

5. Owner Responsibilities

  • Owners must provide all necessary items for the dog’s stay (food, medication, bedding, toys, etc.).

  • All dogs must be toilet trained or owners must notify us if otherwise.

  • You are responsible for any damage your dog causes to property or injury to others.

6. Dog Walking

  • Dogs must be leash-trained and responsive to basic commands.

  • Walks will not proceed in dangerous weather conditions (e.g. extreme heat, thunderstorms); alternate arrangements will be made.

  • Walks may be adjusted in duration to accommodate the dog's needs (e.g., age, fitness, or health issues).

7. Environment & Supervision

  • We are a council-approved and insured business.

  • Our home is, calm, and safely enclosed with a secure outdoor area.

  • We maintain a strict cleaning and sanitation routine between each stay.

  • Dogs are supervised at all times during their stay or walk.

8. Emergencies

  • In the event of illness or injury, we will contact you immediately. If urgent care is required, your dog will be taken to the nearest veterinary clinic.

  • All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner.

9. Media & Privacy

  • We may take photos/videos of dogs during their stay or walk to share on social media or for promotional purposes.

  • If you prefer your dog not be featured, please inform us in writing.

10. Agreement

By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update this document at any time, with notice provided to existing clients.

We provide a range of pet care services including dog day stays, walking, and basic training (with a focus on leash manners and calm walking). All services are delivered in a safe, caring, and force-free environment.

1. Trainer & Carer Qualifications

Our team is experienced and committed to kind, effective methods. We are not formally certified trainers or veterinary behaviourists. Our services are based on hands-on experience, ongoing study, and proven systems. For complex behavioural issues (e.g. aggression, extreme anxiety), we may recommend referral to a certified behaviourist or veterinarian.

2. Results Disclaimer

While many dogs show great progress with consistency, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or timeframes. Success depends on your dog’s age, history, temperament, and the amount of practice you continue at home.
