Questions?
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a certified dog trainer?
No, I’m not formally certified. I’m upfront about that because honesty matters. What I am is specialised — I focus on calm, force-free leash training. Instead of trying to cover every behaviour problem, I’ve dedicated myself to solving the number one struggle most owners face: pulling on the lead.
If your dog has complex behavioural issues (like aggression or severe anxiety), I’ll always recommend working with a certified behaviourist. But if you want calmer, safer, and more enjoyable walks, this program is designed for exactly that.
What can I expect from a session?
Each session is more than just a walk — it’s structured training time. We’ll cover:
-
Calm start routines (no rushing out the door)
-
Step-by-step leash walking exercises
-
Focus and engagement games
-
Balanced training and sniffing time
-
Homework so you can continue progress at home
-
Do you guarantee results?
Every dog learns at their own pace, so I don’t promise overnight results. What I do guarantee is a proven, force-free system, clear guidance, and support along the way. With consistency at home, you’ll see real improvements.
What methods do you use?
I use positive, force-free techniques. No prong collars, no harsh corrections — just calm, consistent training that builds trust and focus.
How much does it cost?
-
Initial Assessment: $50 (30–40 mins)
-

What if my dog is reactive?
Mild reactivity (barking, excitement) can often improve with leash training. For more serious reactivity or aggression, I’ll discuss options with you and may recommend a specialist trainer. Your dog’s safety always comes first.
